my dream weekend would be...

my dream weekend would be a long one, where i would go back to where i used to live, in scotland. I would get to see all of my old friends and hang out with them and have all the fun we used to have together. it would be in the summer, when the weather is warm and the days are long. we would be able to hang out till late in the night and not have to worry about going to school in the morning.

(choose topic)

On the weekend....On the weekend I will probably do a lot of sleeping. Weekends are good for catching up on sleep that is missed during the week. I am also sick, so I will need to sleep a lot either way. Other than sleeping i will most likely watch a lot of television and i will probably be on my computer a lot of the time as well. My weekend is just going to be time to relax and get better.

second semester

In second semester, I have a full timetable with the same four courses everyday. My first class everyday is strength and conditioning. In this class we work on aerobic and anaerobic aspects of fitness. The students have a lot of freedom and freewill in the class. We use our own discretion as to what fitness activities we want to do and when we want to do them. My second class in the day is communications. We work a lot on aspects of language and grammer.
We work on things such as basic and intermediate grammar, writing business letters, reading comprehension skills, and visual design. My third class is First Nations Social. in this class we learn about the aboriginal people of BC, their history, traditions, and culture. My fourth class everyday is keyboarding. we work on keyboarding and business related skills.

on the weekend...

On the weekend I didn't really do a whole lot of things. I watched a lot of television and i went on my computer. I went to bed late and slept in on the mornings as i usually do on the weekends. I used to go out and party with friends the whole weekend, but i havn't done that in a while. most of my weekends are now empty and there isnt a whole lot to do outside of the house like that. so this weekend, other than watching television and going on the web, i played my guitar to fill the rest of my time.

if i could live anywhere in the world, i would choose...

If I could live anywhere in the world, I would choose to live in Scotland. This is because I am of Scottish heritage. I used to live there, and I have some very good friends over there. It would be nice to live there again, to be with my old friends. The scenery is also very nice, and the types of culture over there are unique. Where I used to live, society is fairly laid back and relaxed, and people are usually quite friendly.

WORD 58E: My favorite season of the year is____because...

My favorite season of the year is summer for many reasons. It is dry and warm, comfortable, and relaxing, unlike other seasons. In winter it can be very cold and snow and ice can make things wet, slippery and uncomfortable. In fall it can be windy and cold, and all the trees lose their leaves. In the spring it is usually wet and slushy from melting snow. In the summer there is no school, and you can hang out with friends more often. You don't have to worry about exams or assignments. you can just relax and forget about that stuff. you can go outside and not worry about being cold or getting your shoes wet from snow or slush. you can go to the beach, you can go camping, you can sit out in the sun, rollerblade, bike, skateboard, hike. Theres a whole bunch of stuff you can do, that you might not be able to do in other seasons. the trees get their leaves back, the grass turns green, the days are longer, the sun is warmer, the sky is clear, etc. you can play many sports outside in the fresh air like golf, beach volleyball, baseball, soccer, football, etc. you can still do some winter related activities during the summer too, like skating.

"The person that is the kindest"

The kindest person I probably know is my little sister. She is rarely prejudice or judging towards other people and treats evryone eqaully and kindly. She usually has a good, selfless attitude and is very giving and generous. Alot of other people i know and have met aren't quite as kind and warming. I still know some kind people but she is probably the kindest.

"my favorite thing to do on spring break"

My favorite thing to do on spring break is to relax and forget about school. Sometimes on spring break I will go out with friends and party, but a lot of the time I will watch TV and go on my computer. I used to go visit my dad where he worked on springbreak sometimes. I would hang out with him when he wasnt working. On this spring break I stayed at home most of the time and didnt do a whole lot.

"first day of school"

I've attended 2 elementary schools. My first day at both was pretty easy, because I was always in one class, so i didnt have to find my way through the whole school. The transition to Jr. High was a little scary, because the building was bigger, had more students, and I had to find my way around the school. It was sometimes confusing to try and find my locker, and classes. I've been to 3 high schools. The first day of my first high school was the easiest, because i knew my way around a little bit, and my locker was in an easy place to remember. I also knew a fair amount of people who were with me for the first day. The second high school I went to was not quite as easy on the first day as. Even though it happened to be a smaller school, I didnt know anyone there, and I didnt already know my way around, like the second school. Later in the first day I was lucky to make some friends to hang out with. The third high school i went to, the first day was pretty good. I knew a few people who already went to the school, and I also had an idea where I was going. Overall my experiences of first days at school have been pretty good and easy going.
